Prepare the Evidence Path
Good readiness work reduces friction. Evidence should be organized so an assessor can understand what it proves, where it came from, when it was produced, and how it connects to the assessment objective.
What the assessor sees
Build an evidence path that can be followed and defended.
- Map evidence to specific assessment objectives.
- Prefer authoritative system records over manually assembled artifacts when possible.
- Preserve dates, source context, and ownership.
- Test the evidence path internally before formal assessment.
